Excerpt from “The Nation Will Comply with” Chapter 4 “A Dinner in London”:

“What I did know was that most of the faces I noticed have been Hillary supporters. I used to be one in all a really small variety of Trump supporters within the room. And I used to be okay with that. I’m not above having dinner with the opposition, and I attempt to not choose folks by their political affiliation. All of us have causes for supporting who we assist, so long as they’re the precise motive: for the advantage of the nation.

So, we broke the ice and launched ourselves. These have been solely meant to be fast introductions, there have been over fifty folks within the room, but it surely appeared my “good friend,” the person I traveled with, didn’t get the memo.
