A ‘biblical’ plague of toads, frogs and tadpoles wreaked havoc in a Honduras metropolis, even inflicting a multi-car pile-up.
The amphibians took over the streets and houses of Choloma after heavy rain fell within the space, inflicting drains to overflow and puddles to kind.
The outbreak began on December 3 and, in keeping with locals, continued for no less than three days.
At one level, a pick-up truck misplaced management on the slime left behind and triggered a pile-up involving no less than 5 autos, together with a tanker, two lorries and a motorcycle that was left burnt to a crisp.
