He’s Shot: Joe Biden Claims He “Literally” Convinced Strom Thurmond to Vote For Civil Rights Act (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit

On Monday, Joe Biden spoke on the sixtieth anniversary of the founding of the Legal professionals’ Committee for Civil Rights Underneath Regulation. 

As The Gateway Pundit’s Cristina Laila reported, Biden, as soon as once more, asserted that “home terrorism rooted in white supremacy is the best terrorist menace we face within the homeland.”

However the man who has falsely claimed quite a few occasions that he was a “Civil Rights activist” advised one other whopper:  Biden claimed he “actually, not figuratively, talked South Carolina Senator Strom Thurmond into voting for the Civil Rights Act earlier than he died.”

There are a number of issues with this comment, essentially the most obvious of which is that Thurmond voted NAY on the Civil Rights Act.  Not solely did Thurmond vote “NAY”, he filibustered the Civil Rights Act for over 24 hours, longer than some other opponent to the laws.  And Thurmond didn’t die till 2003, virtually 40 years later.

Oh, and Joe Biden was solely 21 on the time.  He wasn’t elected to the US Senate till 8 years later in 1972 (first time period started in 1973).

There’s something not proper with this man.  He’s both a pathological liar or he’s so absent-minded that even he doesn’t know the reality from his personal delusions.  Both one is harmful.

Biden has repeatedly lied about his involvement within the civil rights motion.

A White Home spox told Fox News that Joe Biden helped persuade Strom Thurmond to vote for the Voting Rights Act in 1980.
