An investigation is underway after gasoline line was struck, inflicting a hearth and explosion on Thursday afternoon.

A spokesperson for Central Hudson stated a contractor struck a 3/4-inch gasoline service line and the dig precipitated a hearth and explosion at 4 Brick Row.
