Kevin McCarthy Reveals What Happened in Closed-Door Meeting with Republicans… and His Explosive Exchange with Matt Gaetz! (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit

Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy spoke with reporters on Thursday after Republicans held a closed-door assembly on the Home Speaker vote.

Chairman Jim Jordan withdrew from the Speaker’s race on Thursday after 22 RINOs derailed his vote for Speaker of the US Home of Representatives.

It was reported earlier that there can be no vote for Speaker once more till January at the very least.

As an alternative, Jordan will again McCarthy ally Patrick McHenry as interim Speaker till January. That’s three months from now.

This comes two days after former Home Audio system John Boehner and Newt Gingrich backed McHenry for interim Speaker.

Kevin McCarthy was ousted as Home Speaker earlier this month in a 216-210 vote after Rep. Matt Gaetz filed a Movement to Vacate the Chair. 8 Republicans voted to oust McCarthy: Biggs, Buck, Burchett, Crane, Gaetz, Good, Mace, and Rosendale.

McCarthy instructed reporters he had a fiery trade along with his ouster Matt Gaetz throughout Thursday’s closed-door assembly with Republicans.

“I used to be on the mic and I used to be talking and Matt Gaetz tried to interrupt and I instructed him to sit down down and he sat down,” McCarthy stated blasting Gaetz and the ‘loopy eights’ who voted to oust him.

McCarthy continued, “No, I instructed him to sit down down. I believe your entire convention screamed at him.”

“[Gaetz] had no plan afterward and now we now have Israel at warfare…questions if Congress can act. Questions on the place we might be capable to go to elect a brand new Speaker…it’s a tough scenario,” McCarthy stated.
